Green Hydrogen
What is Green Hydrogen?
Green hydrogen is a key alternative energy source for decarbonisation and the transition to a greener economy, capable of transporting and storing energy from renewable sources like solar and wind.
How is it Produced?
This hydrogen is produced through the electrolysis of water, a technique that uses energy from renewable sources to split water into hydrogen and oxygen.
Using renewable energy sources ensures that water electrolysis is a clean and sustainable process, paving the way for a greener and more promising energy future.
At ABEI Energy, we are committed to green hydrogen as a catalyst for the renewable revolution, developing a broad portfolio of assets, primarily in Spain, the UK, Germany, and the USA, operating under the B2O (Build to Own) model.
We focus mainly on three types of initiatives:
- Blending Projects: A broad portfolio of projects connected to existing natural gas networks.
- Hydrogen network: Projects connected to the future hydrogen network being developed in countries including Spain and Germany.
- Self-Consumption Projects: Dedicated to developing self-consumption projects for industrial clients, with a specialised commercial team establishing collaborations with off-takers to assist these clients in transitioning to the decarbonisation of their operations.
